1. Who We Are
This site is operated by Rhythm Shahriar, an independent entrepreneur and on-demand CTO (rhy.io). References to "I", "me", or "my" refer to Rhythm Shahriar individually.
2. Information I Collect
This website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with the site. These tools may use cookies. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. The only personal information collected is what you voluntarily provide when booking a call or sending an email — specifically your name and email address.
3. How I Use Your Information
Contact details are used solely to respond to your inquiry and schedule calls. I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Retention
Email correspondence is retained only as long as needed to complete our engagement. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing legal@rhy.io.
5. Third-Party Services
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Call booking is handled via Google Calendar. Analytics are provided by Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. Each service has its own privacy policy. I am not responsible for the data practices of these providers.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data I hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact me at legal@rhy.io.
7. Changes
I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Terms of Service
1. Services
I provide web development, design, and tech architecture services on a project basis. The scope, timeline, and price for each project are agreed upon in a written proposal before work begins.
2. Fixed Price & Fixed Date
Every project is quoted at a fixed price with a fixed delivery date. No hidden fees. No surprise invoices. If scope changes, I will provide a revised estimate before proceeding.
3. Payment
Payment terms are specified in the individual project proposal. Typically a deposit is required before work begins, with the balance due on delivery.
4. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, all deliverables and their intellectual property rights transfer to you. I retain the right to display the work in my portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
5. Revisions
Each project includes a reasonable number of revisions as defined in the proposal. Revisions outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.
6. Limitation of Liability
My liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project in question. I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of deliverables.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved in good faith first. If unresolved, disputes are subject to the jurisdiction agreed upon in the project proposal.
